Frequently Asked Questions

Are you accepting new clients?

My ability to accept new clients varies. I only accept clients via community referrals and at this time my practice is full.

Why is your ability to accept clients so limited?

PSH is a part-time practice. This practice is my passion. It is what gives me life and energy. It does not sustain me materially. I have a full time job with enough security and flexibility that I can pursue this practice alongside that responsibility.

How do i pay for services?

I am able to bill the following insurance providers through a platform called Headway: Oscar Health, BCBSIL, BCBSMA, Aetna, United Healthcare, Cigna, Oxford.

For uninsured clients my services are pay what you can. At this time, all pay what you can spaces are full.

Is touch work like massage, reiki, (other hands on healing modality)?

Currently all sessions are via telehealth therefore I am not providing touch work. The rest of this paragraph applies to in person touch work. It might be similar to a modality you’re familiar with… but it is definitely not massage. Clients lay down on a table that is similar to a massage table. Clients are fully clothed and face up. The touch is very specific, very light, and there is no muscular manipulation. This is not expressly energy work, but energy is involved anytime there is touch placed on a body. This school of touch work is about regulating the nervous system at a cellular level, there is no energy shifting or exchange. I am not trained in any touch practice other than Somatic Experiencing, Transforming Touch as taught by Steve Terrell and BASE as taught by Dave Berger.

Where are you located?

Currently, all sessions are done over zoom.
